Built for the open road, the Jeep Wrangler defines what it means to be a true SUV. And while the series has always maintained a character of performance and class, 2023 is set to introduce a new wave of design and engineering that will push Wrangler’s standards even higher. Keep reading for more information about the 2023 Jeep Wrangler, its trim levels, and what you can expect from these models.
Off-roader? Trailblazer? Daily driver? No matter what your driving style is, there’s a Jeep Wrangler model that’s perfect for you. The 2023 lineup comes with eight great trim levels to consider, each with its own unique strengths and features. Choose from the Sport, Willys Sport, Sport RHD, Sport S, Willys, Rubicon, Sahara, and High Altitude, all of which come with a standard four-wheel drivetrain and the quality guarantee you can only get from Jeep.
While it is the series’ base model, the 2023 Jeep Wrangler Sport exceeds expectations in every way possible. This convertible four-seater comes equipped with a 3.6L V6 gas engine capable of generating 285 horsepower and 260 lb-ft of torque. Its 6-speed manual transmission is standard, with buyers having the option to upgrade to an 8-speed automatic. The Sport’s frame is made entirely of high-strength steel and is available in a wide selection of colors, including Black Clearcoat, Firecracker Red Clearcoat, Granite Crystal Metallic Clearcoat, Hydro Blue Pearlcoat, and Limited Edition Reign.
Standout features:
For those who want a truly unique driving experience, the 2023 Jeep Wrangler Sport RHD is a perfect choice. This right-hand drive model is only available in select markets, but it offers the same great performance and features as the other Sport models.
Standout features:
The Sport S offers those who want a bit more from their Jeep Wrangler a level up in features and design. This model comes with the same standard bells and whistles as the main Sport, including keyless entry, steering wheel audio controls, bucket seats and more.
But it also affords you the option to go for upgrades you can’t get in the base trim, like a WiFi hotspot, HD radio, leather steering wheel and premium sound system.
Standout features:
The 2023 Jeep Wrangler Willys Sport is a re-imagination of the basic Jeep Wrangler Sport with a few key features that set it apart. The first is branding – Willys is a historic nod to the original Jeep that launched during World War II. The second is a different choice in interior trim; while the full Sport comes with the option to upgrade to leather seats, the Willys Sport model is exclusively cloth.
Standout features:
Like the Willys Sport but want the option to upgrade? The standard Willys model has got you covered. This model comes with the same great features as the Sport version – keyless entry, Bluetooth connection, cruise control, and more – but with the addition of a number of available add-ons. These include but are not limited to heated front seats, Cross-Traffic Alert, Blindspot Monitoring, Rear Parking Aid, a leather steering wheel, and a universal garage door opener.
Standout features:
The 2023 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon is the go-to option for drivers who want more features as standard. This trim has countless additional bells and whistles to take advantage of, like a built-in Wi-Fi hotspot, premium sound system, smart device integration capability, power mirrors, keyless entry, and more.
Standout Features:
Many Jeep enthusiasts consider the Sahara the Wrangler lineup’s luxury trim because of the countless standard comforts, conveniences, and styles it offers. The 2023 Sahara comes with everything you need to enjoy the perfect ride, including but not limited to remote start capability, Alpine® Audio System, “Grillz” Instrument Panel Bezels, and the option to upgrade to Premium McKinley-Trimmed Seats. It also differs in style with standard Body-Color Fender Flares, exclusive badges, and three different interior colors to choose from.
An inline four-cylinder engine gives the Wrangler Sahara an impressive 270 horsepower and 295 lb-ft of torque. While it is heavier than and has the same size tank as other trims, it scores a top combined fuel economy of 22 MPG.
Standout Features:
You can get any of the great trims in the Jeep Wrangler lineup, but if you’re looking for something truly special, go for the High Altitude. This model excels its counterparts in so many ways, namely in the power and performance it delivers. Outfitted with a beastly 2.0L Turbo Inline-4 gas engine and eight speed automatic transmission, the High Altitude is capable of reaching 270 horsepower and 295 lb-ft of torque. Not only that, but it’s also incredibly fuel efficient with a series-leading combined economy of 22 MPG.
20″ aluminum wheels give this trim a look that’s both sleek and stylish, while a standard Wi-Fi hotspot, HD radio and premium sound system let you enjoy all your favorite tunes on the go.
The only caveat of the Wrangler High Altitude is that there are less colors to choose from in this trim. But don’t worry, all-time favorites like Black Clearcoat, Hydro Blue Pearlcoat, Silver Zynith Clearcoat and Sting-Gray Clearcoat remain available.
Standout Features:
